Everyone says it: the chalet is magnificent. It's true. We can add that it is very, very quiet and very well designed. It is perfectly practical, which is very important when you have seven children and ten adults staying there. There is a space associated with the Villard car park where you can leave your car or drop off the little ones (note that it is limited to 180 cm, I couldn't get through with my roof box). In front of the chalet there is a great meadow that has become a sledging slope (supervised by parents from the warmth of their homes). Everything works perfectly and the concierge service is very efficient. When you return to the chalet, you can enjoy a superb view (the photos on the website are very accurate – no deception). You can't hear the road, which is well above. No noise pollution. There are sledges, snowshoes, in short, something for everyone. We went on lots of walks from the chalet, which is easier than from the resort itself. The first chairlift is a gentle 400-metre climb to the snow front, which is no problem even for the little ones, who did it every day. Otherwise, the free shuttle bus is 300 metres away. Please note that the ESF is on the other side of the snow front, so you need to plan ahead. Our children (aged 4 to 40) had a blast! One of our best Christmases ever!
